Synopsis: A flashback story about Rock's early days with Easy Company in the North African campaign. After fighter planes destroy a tank accompanying them on a desert patrol, Rock takes Easy to finish the patrol. After finding his compass has been broken by shrapnel, Rock has to find the way back and keep Easy from finding out their shrapnel-riddled canteens are empty,
