STORY DETAILS
Characters: Crusher (villain, introduction); Steely (villain, introduction); their gang (villains, introductions); GUEST: Toro
Synopsis: Crusher is scheduled to die in the electric chair but plans to escape using the Torch's help. He has the warden call the Torch and tell him he's willing to talk about his partner. Arriving at the prison the warden's little girl is smitten with Toro. Torch finds this amusing and convinces the warden to allow the girl to accompany them to Crusher's cell. Crusher takes the kids hostage forcing Torch to burn an underground tunnel where Steely is waiting for them. In the getaway car Toro uses the girl's hair ribbon to write Torch a message. Torch rescues the kids and the felons are apprehended.
