Synopsis: Teenagers Bob and Sheila elope but are caught by their parents and the marriage is annulled. Bob leaves town. Time passes: Sheila finishes high school and marries Jack. They are happy but Jack meets Bob and learns he and Sheila were married. Jack doesn’t feel he can trust Sheila since she kept this from him. Sheila confronts Bob at his apartment, but while she’s there, Jack arrives and she hides. She goes home and confesses this to Jack: he says he can trust her now.

Synopsis: Ned proposes to Ruth after they’ve known each other for just two weeks. Both sets of parents urge them to wait. Ruth is invited to spend a week with the Taylor family in Florida, and then Ned joins Ruth’s family at their winter lodge. Ned and Ruth find their future in-laws delightful and the feeling is mutual. When Ned and Ruth argue and decide to break up, they just can’t bring themselves to disappoint their parents, so the wedding is on.
