COVER DETAILS
Pencils: Harry Anderson
Inks: Harry Anderson
Notes: Originally credited to Clem Weisbecker, but the face is a perfect match to a face on page 2 panel 4 in Harry Anderson's signed story "Mr. Scarlet and Pinky" in Wow Comics #34. Compare the squinting eyes and the mouth drawn with two lines that don't meet at the center, very common in Anderson faces, also the hands with short inklines that don't go all the way down between the fingers. Notice the lines below the outer edge of the eyes, found on many Anderson faces. Anderson is credited on Lance O'Casey by Jerry Bails' Who's Who. Comparing with Clem Weisbecker's signed story in Black Hood Comics #9, his style is quite different, with long narrow faces with big eyes and sometimes a small gaping, skewed mouth, and heavier inking with much black shadows.
