Notes: Features the origin and first case of the Justice League of America. Most of the story from this issue is retold in issue #97; some of it redrawn, some pages reprinted directly (pages 6-17, 19 in this original are reprinted as pages 15-26, 28 in that issue). The story was changed slightly; for instance in the original the final creature was turned into a "pile of slivers and splinters" by Wonder Woman (Flash says "destroyed"), while in the updated story it was "planed down to its bare essence", still clearly intact.
