COVER DETAILS
Characters: Nyoka (photo of Kay Aldridge)
Pencils: Harry Anderson
Inks: Harry Anderson
Notes: Originally credited to Clem Weisbecker, but the faces, and hands with short inklines that don't go all the way down between the fingers are sure signs of Anderson. He also drew the mouth with two lines that don't meet at the middle. Anderson is credited on Nyoka by Jerry Bails' Who's Who, while Weisbecker is not. The signed Anderson story "Mr. Scarlet and Pinky" in Wow Comics #34 has the same faces and hands as here. Weisbecker has much heavier inking and more black, and other faces. Compare with Weisbecker's signed story in Black Hood #9.
STORY DETAILS
Characters: Nyoka Gordon (introduction, origin); Larry Grayson (her boyfriend, introduction); Vultura (villain, introduction); Count Torrini (villain, introduction); Satan (villain, introduction, an ape); Hippocrates (in flashback, introduction)
Pages: 11.000
Script: Rod Reed ?
Pencils: Harry Anderson
Inks: Harry Anderson
Notes: Adapted from Republic's PERILS OF NYOKA movie serial. Art notes as for the cover.
