STORY DETAILS
Characters: Karim (the Thief of Baghdad); Ghamal, the Grand Vizier; the Sultan; Princess Amina; Prince Osman; Kadeejah
Synopsis: Prince Osman comes to marry Princess Amina, daughter of the Sultan. However he is waylaid by Karim, who enters the palace disguised as the Prince. Amina falls in love with the disguised Prince and when the charade is discovered, refuses to marry the real Osman. The Grand Vizier and the prince give Amina a love potion that backfires and makes her deathly ill. Only a potion made with a blue rose can cure her and Karim goes in search of one.
