After he proposes, he tells Sharon he has used every penny he had to buy into an ad agency in Dallas. He is now broke... does Sharon go with him to Dallas?

There is an immediate connection, and during their whirlwind romance, Judy learns that Joe still lives with his mother. When he takes her home to announce their engagement, the mother feigns a heart attack. Judy leaves, catching a bus home that hits a gas tanker truck exploding into flames. Joe has made a decision, and chases after Judy arriving in time to rescue her from the flames.
