George tells off Gwen’s selfish mother and brother but Gwen can’t bring herself to desert them until she breaks her ankle and her family only complains about the inconvenience to them. Gwen marries George and her mother & brother eventually get over it.

Synopsis:
Dick is released from military service and tells Judy they can’t wed until he finishes college. He reluctantly agrees to allow her to work while he studies, but insists she quit when he graduates and gets a good job. She does, but when Judy finally becomes “a housewife,” she finds it difficult to turn over management of the family finances to Dick after having done that job for 3 years. After constant arguments, Dick walks out. He loses his job and turns into a bum. Judy tracks him down and they reconcile, agreeing to be more sympathetic to each other's needs.
