STORY DETAILS
Characters: Nagopa; Dan-El; Natongo; Mopo; Tavane; Zulena; Lugongo; Kongoni; Ubo; Colonel Mothibi; Music-Maker (dog); Colonel Gomo; Hanool's son; Alissa (mule); Hatima (mule); Zulus (African tribe)
Synopsis: As Chief Lugongo recalls the origin of the Brothers of the Spear, Nagopa the witch doctor, with the help of Mopo, attacks Dan-El, Natongo, Tavane, Zulena, and Kongoni. Dan-El, Natongo, and Colonel Mothibi chase Nagopa into the tunnels under Aba-Zulu where Nagopa traps them. Dan-El, Natongo, and Music-Maker plunge into a river and follow it into a cavern. After Colonel Mothibi reports to Tavane and Zulena that Dan-El and Natongo are lost, Nagopa plots to poison the pair and put Hanool's son on the throne but Dan-El and Natongo foil the plot with Nagopa and Colonel Gomo falling to their deaths.
