Synopsis: While entertaining some children in the park, Dick happens to notice the Scarecrow retrieving buried loot from a past robbery. He calls in Batman and together they battle their old foe until they are blinded by Scarecrow's fear gas.

Records show that Bob Kane was paid for the pencils, but scholars agree that pencils were actually by Moldoff. Story across 23 pages in three parts of 9.5, 7.5, and 4.5. This story introduced the Scarecrow of Earth-1, his origin presented in this story is an adaptation of the story in World's Finest Comics #3, which featured the Earth-2 Scarecrow.
