Ramona Fradon and Charles Paris - Metamorpho #2 Splash Page 1 Original Art (DC, 1965). From the wild, wacky, wonderful, way-out era of the swinging sixties comes Bob Haney's "Fab Freak of 1,001 changes." Metamorpho the Element Man was a "normal, green-blooded, all-American freak," and this spectacular splash page by Ramona Fradon and Charles Paris spotlights the entire cast of characters -- Rex Mason, fated to became Metamorpho; Simon Stagg, the terrible tycoon; Sapphire Stagg, Rex's gal-pal; Java, the living throw-back in man's evolutionary chain; and this issue's villain, Nicholas Balkan. Telstar was all the rage back in the day; the Tornados had a hit 1962 rock instrumental with that title, and Bob Haney must have jumped in on the Space Race craze! The image area of this splash is 13" x 17.5", and it still has all of its original type and stats. There are a few paste-on and taped-in lettering corrections; otherwise the art is in Excellent condition. Any collector would certainly have a hard time topping this magnificent Metamorpho splash -- snap it up!

The Brave and the Bold #59 Batman and Green Lantern - Pacific Coast pedigree (DC, 1965) CGC NM/MT 9.8 Off-white to white pages. This title is most familiar to many readers as a Batman team-up book, but its first collaboration of superguys wasn't until the 59th issue, with Green Lantern the guest star and Gil Kane the cover artist. The interior story was drawn by Ramona Fradon. But the biggest story is this book's condition -- it' s the highest-graded copy that CGC has certified to date. Overstreet 2004 NM- 9.2 value = $150.

Ramona Fradon and Charles Paris -The Brave and the Bold #59 Splash Page 1 Original Art (DC, 1965). This page is from the first Brave and Bold issue to team Batman with another superhero! And who better to team up with than that streamlined Silver Age champion, Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern? The two superfriends take on "The Tick-Tock Traps of the Time Commander." Note the watch that GL is sporting on his left arm, it will no doubt help in the time-battle ahead. Batman is in a bit of a time-warp himself, still making the transition to his "new look," as he is shown riding his old school "Whirly-bat." One of Batman's greatest inkers, Charlie Paris, adds his slick finishes to Ramona Fradon's dynamic pencils. The overall paper size is 14.25" x 23", while the image area is 13" x 17.25". A The Brave and the Bold logo stat has slipped off the page at the upper left; otherwise the art is in Excellent condition. The cover retains its other original stats. This fantastic splash simply shouts "Silver Age" -- it's DC dynamite!

Ramona Fradon and Charles Paris - Metamorpho #1, page 5 Original Art (DC, 1965). Transformed by the Orb of Ra, Rex Mason gained a power to shape-shift, and also had the ability to transform his body into any element, or combination of elements. These powers came with a terrible side-effect, he was cursed to look like a freak. Rex Mason used his powers heroically for the benefit of humanity as Metamorpho, the Element Man. Charles Paris, celebrated for his inking on Batman, added his fine finishes to Ramona Fradon's pencils for this page from "Attack of the Atomic Avenger". The image area of the page measures 13" x 18", and Ramona Fradon signed the page at the lower left of panel three. The paper has aged slightly and the page was folded in half horizontally; otherwise the art is in Good condition. Add a Silver Age sensation to your collection!

The art paper is 11.25" x 17.25" with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The condition of the art is beautiful with the original logo title stat. There is a minor glue stain where a caption box, probably UPC code box, has been removed in the lower left corner to reveal the art. Great bat-shadow on the cave wall.
