Angel Gabriele (b. 1956) started his comics career in 1971, learning the basics from Kelly Freas in his Virgina Beach Studio. He went to work for Rich Bucker in New York City in 1974, assisting on some of Buckler's Kirby-inspired pages. Some were credited, while others were ghosted. Gabriele's first credited work for DC was Kobra #4 in 1976. Gabriele also drew a cover for DC's Impact line, The Web #6-8, and his last credited work for DC was Hardware #34-36 and Static #17, so his comics work has spanned about 30 years.Along the way he has worked for Marvel, DC,and independent publishers
