Sub-Mariner Comics #3 (Timely, 1941) CGC Apparent VF+ 8.5 Slight (A) Off-white pages. This early issue features a Winston Churchill assassination cover, not to mention an Angel story. The one and only Alex Schomburg provided this cover. Schomburg shared interior art chores with Al Gabriele and Bill Everett. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: centerfold reinforced." Giant-Size X-Men #1 (Marvel, 1975) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white to white pages. Easily one of the most important Marvel books from the 1970's, this issue features the first appearance of the new X-Men. It is the first time we see Nightcrawler, Colossus, Storm, and Thunderbird. This book also marks the second full appearance of Wolverine after Incredible Hulk #181. The comics included here are Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #289, 290, 291, 292, 293, 294, 295, 296, 297, 298, 299, and 300 (the first couple of issues have Annette Funicello backup features); Donald Duck #100, 101, 102, 103, 104, and 105; Mickey Mouse #99, 100, 101, 102, 103, and 104. Ashley Wood - Ghost Rider 2099 #25 Wrap-Around Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1996). The Ghost Rider has seldom, if ever, looked more wicked than he does on this wrap-around cover scene drawn on two sheets of paper. The combined pages have an image area of 20.25" x 15.75". The pages were taped together on the back; otherwise the art is in Excellent condition.
