Fontaine Fox - Toonerville Folks Daily Comic Strip Original Art, dated 4-26 (Bell Syndicate, year unknown). The Toonerville gang find a new use for elastic bow ties in this side-splitting gag. Leonard Starr - Mary Perkins On Stage Sunday Comic Strip Original Art, dated 8-28-66 (Chicago Tribune, 1966). Leonard Starr's super-slick, realistic cartooning style set a new standard for the soap opera strip genre. This Sunday features a rare "superhero" cameo in the storyline. The strip has an image area of 19.5" x 13". Each panel was cut out and glued to a support paper; there are some small stains and foxing on the page; otherwise, the art is in Good condition.
