Milton Caniff - Terry and the Pirates Daily with Dragon Lady dated 2-23-45 Original Art Comic Strip Art (Chicago Tribune, 1945).
Hu Shee? Well that's the Dragon Lady easing into the plot in panel four. This terrific World War II-era Terry has all of the Caniff hallmarks, including Terry Lee, in every panel. The image size is 6.5" x 21.75", and the art is in Excellent condition, with only a mild bit of paper aging and edge wear. The Dragon Lady -- the ultimate femme fatale.

Arthur Suydam - Penthouse Comix #2, page 52, "Libby" Original Art (Penthouse, 1994).
There are few fantasy comic artists who are able to successfully span the entire spectrum of technique and subject matter that the medium provides; one of those select few is Arthur Suydam. A vicious toad attack floors the buxom beauty, Libby. The overall paper is 13.5" x 19.5", with a 10" x 13" image area, and the art is in Excellent condition.

Frank Frazetta - "Flash Gordon Studies" Original Art (undated).
Three sketches of a "Flash Gordon" (or maybe Buck Rogers) character, plus a nude female, all on an 8" x 6" piece of paper that came from Frank Frazetta's sketchbook. The art is in Very Good condition; there is a 1.25" tear that goes through the first figure on the left, plus there are four pieces of thin white tape on the back of the paper. Signed on the front with Frank's "F. F." initials.

Milton Caniff - Terry and the Pirates Daily dated 11-2-1944 Original Comic Strip Art (Chicago Tribune, 1944).
Two panels of lovely Caniff gals and two panels with Hotshot Charlie highlight this World War II-era Terry. The image area is 6.5" x 21.5", and the condition of the art is Very Good , with only a minor bit of paper aging evident. Masterful inking, as always, by one of the titans of adventure cartooning.

The Rawhide Kid is snared as a part of "The Vengeance!", in this cover penciled by Larry Lieber and inked by George Roussos. Includes original logo, issue number and type paste-ups. In great condition, but with some minor printer's grease stains. The word balloons were paste-ons and have fallen off. Measures 11.5" x 17.5" with a 10" x 15" image area. Signed by Larry Lieber in the lower right border.

This is the first seven pages of an eight page Girl Commando story. The first page has some heavy water damage, after that the other pages have minor water damage around the edges, as well as slight rippling. The image area is approximately 12.5" x 18", and the overall average condition of the art is Good. Slam bang World War II Golden Age girl action -- cool stuff.

John Celardo - Tarzan Sunday dated 5-10-74 Original Comic Strip Art (United Feature Syndicate, 1974).
Tarzan is fired upon by the jungle patrol -- he may be a diamond smuggler. John Celardo's Tarzan has a dynamic energy, and this page is chock-full of terrific portraits of the Jungle Lord. The overall paper size measures 17" x 23.5", with an image area of 15" x 22.5". The art is in Excellent condition and has been autographed in the lower border.

Bob Powell (attributed) - Warfront #12, Complete 5-page story "Highway to Hell" Original Art (Harvey, 1953).
Here's a rip-roaring Korean War tank battle story. The art shows the influence of Jack Davis' EC war work -- very carefully and well crafted inking, with heavy black brushwork and gritty textures. After their tank is incapacitated, a savvy crew leaves their ride, and leads an enemy tank right into their tank's limited firing zone. The image area is 12" x 18", and the art is in Excellent condition. Even the title lettering shows the EC influence. Sweet!
