Amazing Fantasy #15 (Marvel, 1962) CGC Apparent FN+ 6.5 Extensive (P) Cream to off-white pages.
Overstreet rates this book as the most valuable comic of the Silver Age, and no wonder: it features the first appearance and origin of Spider-Man, drawn by his co-creator Steve Ditko. Copies of this comic aren't cheap to come by, but with the premiere of the movie "Spider-Man 2" only weeks away, previous prices may seem like bargains soon. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: color touch, pieces added, tear seals, cover cleaned, reinforced, re-glossed. 'Stan Lee' written on 1st page." Overstreet 2004 GD 2.0 value = $1,300; VG 4.0 value = $ 2,600; FN 6.0 value = $3,900; VF 8.0 value = $13,000.
