Ken Steacy - Original Cover Art for Astro Boy (Now Comics, 1987). Ken Steacy has been one of Canada's leading comics artists for nearly thirty years. The consummate Astro Boy cover artist from the Now Comics series, Steacy's hand-painted covers really capture the feel of the "Astro Boy" cartoon series with their rich color and stylized design. Its also a tongue-in-cheek homage to J. C. Leyendecker's famous Saturday Evening Post covers with a New Years theme. The art is 11" x 17" on a 12.5" x 18.5" sheet of illustration board.
