Description
Elmer Fudd and Pepé Le Pew Publicity Cels Group of 2 (Warner Brothers/Chuck Jones, c. 1970s-80s). Pair of what are believed to be Chuck Jones Productions Publicity pieces for various compilation film use. Colors have a real 1970s/80s feel, when Chuck Jones Productions was in major television special mode. One is a take-off on the 1955 short Beanstalk Bunny. It showcases Elmer with Bugs and Daffy, with dialogue on the cel. The other is a Pepé Le Pew cel, also with dialogue graphics. Both are matted and on print backgrounds for presentation purposes. Elmer and Pepé are 7" images. Mats are 14" x 17" (Elmer) and 18" x 15" (Pepé). These also may have been early Limited Edition prototypes. Either way, they are unique.
