Description
Disneyland - Main Street Cinema Park-Used Mickey Mouse Poster (Walt Disney, c. 1970s-1990s). Mickey invites one and all to a special showing of vintage Disney cartoons, including Mickey's first theatrical short, in this terrific original park-used poster. The Main Street Cinema opened with the park in 1955, originally showing old Charlie Chaplin and other silent films. In the 1970s, these were replaced with a rotating selection of five early Disney cartoons to go with Steamboat Willie, which was always included as part of the show. The Cinema is still part of Disneyland today, still showing old Mickey cartoons and still displaying posters like this outside the theater! This original poster is silk-screened on canvas measuring approximately 35.75" x 60", and is in Very Good condition with minor handling wear.From the Rummell Collection.
