Captain America Comics #3 (Timely, 1941) CGC FN+ 6.5 Light tan to off-white pages. The first-ever comic book credit for the great Stan Lee came in a text story in this issue. The classic Red Skull bondage cover is by the inimitable Alex Schomburg. The famous team of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby collaborated on a story and interior art. Mac Raboy also added art to the book that is currently tied for the #45 position on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics. Overstreet 2022 FN 6.0 value = $9,900; VF 8.0 value = $24,800.
