Captain America Comics #3 (Timely, 1941) CGC GD- 1.8 Off-white pages. The first ever comic book work of Stan Lee! That makes this an issue that seems to be on everyone's want list. In addition to the text feature that marked Mr. Lee's debut, the book has a classic Red Skull, bondage cover by Alex Schomburg. The lead story and art are by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Mac Raboy also contributed art to the issue that's currently tied for the #44 position on Overstreet's list of Top 100 Golden Age Comics. There is a small piece of tape on the cover at the top staple. Overstreet 2023 GD 2.0 value = $3,550.
