Description
Stephen Douglass Jingle Jangle Comics #1 Story Page 1 Original Art (Eastern Color, 1943). "Hortense, The Lovable Brat" stars in the first page of her very first story! The twice-up scale page was created in ink on illustration board that has been trimmed to the 13" x 18" image area. Signed in the lower right of Panel 1. It has been hand-colored with watercolors after the fact (possibly for a reprint). The toned board has tack holes in the corners. Shadow-box framed in a UV glass-front 15.5" x 21" wooden frame.
