Description
ThunderCats Mumm-Ra Production Cel (Rankin-Bass/Topcraft/Pacific Animation Corporation, c. 1985-89). "Ancient spirits of evil, transform this decayed form to Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living!" The malevolent main antagonist of the hit animated show ThunderCats steals the spotlight with this incredible hand-painted production cel. This iconic '80s villain is constantly fighting our titular team so he can seize the powerful Eye of Thundera. Distinctively wrapped in bandages and wearing his crimson cloak, the nefarious Mumm-Ra makes a stellar appearance measuring a figure size of 4.5" x 5.5" on the 12-field cel, numbered A16 in the top right corner. The cel is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes, taped with archival artist tape. Some fading can be seen on the cel's linework. Presenting mild handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
