Description
ThunderCats Mumm-Ra Production Cel (Rankin-Bass, c. 1985-89). Animated by Japanese studio Pacific Animation Corporation and co-produced by Rankin-Bass Animated Entertainment, ThunderCats was a hit animated series following and improving upon the sci-fi/fantasy formula popularized by He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. This lot features a stellar hand-painted original production cel featuring the villainous Mumm-Ra, the undead sorcerer bound to the servitude of the godlike entities known as the Ancient Spirits of Evil. An iconic animated 80s villain, this cel is a must-have for any fan of the classic series. Mumm-Ra measures a large and centered 9.5" x 7.25" on two 12 field cels. The cels show some adhesion with staples at the top edge. Overall minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use, and the pegholes are attached with tape. The condition is Very Good.Auction Info
