Heavy Metal Production Cel Group of 6 (Columbia, 1981). Here is a healthy mix of a whopping six original production cels from six unique segments of the 1981 cult hit animated anthology film Heavy Metal. A broad range of the colorful characters of the film are featured here: Gloria from "So Beautiful & So Dangerous," the mutant leader from "Taarna," Norl from "Den," Rudnick from "Harry Canyon," Hanover Fiste from "Captain Stern," and the titular bomber Pacific Pearl from "B-17." This is a stellar set, with hand-painted image areas ranging in size from 3" x 3.25" to nearly filling the 12 field cels. Excitingly, each piece bears an embossed official seal of authenticity. An incredible set featuring great images, perfectly encapsulating the range of stories and styles from the film! Overall minor handling and edge wear with light tape and tape residue near edges, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
