Description

Herb Trimpe - Classic Wolverine Illustration Original Art (undated). The legendary artist who first drew Wolverine going toe-to-toe with the Hulk (and the Wendigo!), Herb Trimpe, revisits the adamantium-clawed mutant as he appeared in his pre-X-Men days -- complete with short mask points and no shoulder pads, just as seen in The Incredible Hulk #180-181. This trip down memory lane to one of comics' most historic debuts is rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board, matted to an image area of 10.75" x 16.75", and glass-front framed to an overall size of 16.25" x 22.25". The art is signed by Trimpe and is in Excellent condition.
