Description

Marc Silvestri and Dan Green The Uncanny X-Men #241 "Inferno" Goblin Queen and Mister Sinister Story Page 3 Original Art (Marvel, 1989). The three primary antagonists of the groundbreaking "Inferno" crossover -- the Goblin Queen, Mister Sinister, and N'astirh -- all appear on this action-packed page! Madelyne Pryor is held in bondage by her "father," Mister Sinister, while the demon lord of Limbo, N'astirh, chooses the better part of valor and quietly retreats. Later in this very issue, it's revealed that Madelyne is, in fact, a clone of the X-Men's Jean Grey created by Sinister -- a shocking twist that still reverberates to this day, as the Goblin Queen now regularly wreaks havoc in Marvel's mutant titles, a legacy recently brought to new audiences through its adaptation in the Emmy-nominated X-Men '97 animated series. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with a 10" x 15" image area. All text is paste-up. Whiteout, taped page number paste-up, clipped top edge, residue staining, toning, tape in the top margin, and handling wear. Signed and in Very Good condition.
