Description
Patrick Gleason and Mick Gray Robin: Son of Batman #5 Double Page Spread 2-3 Original Art (DC, 2015). This grand double-page spread served as the issue's title page, perfectly setting up the story as the glowing Year of Blood relics activate simultaneously in South America, Iceland, Egypt, and Al Ghul Island, illustrated across the four panels spanning the spread. This lot includes the separate pencils and inks rendered on two different sets of conjoined Bristol boards. Patrick Gleason's pencils are rendered in pure graphite on conjoined DC/Vertigo Bristol boards with a combined image area of 20.25" x 15.75". Mick Gray's inks are rendered in ink and marker on conjoined Bristol boards with the same total image area. The boards are joined with tape on the reverse.
