Peanuts You're in Love, Charlie Brown Charlie, Lucy, and Schroeder Production Cel with 44" x 10.5" Pan Production Background (Bill Melendez, 1967). "Good grief Charlie Brown, you're ridiculous!" This was the fourth Peanuts Primetime TV special and notable as being the one where Charlie Brown falls in love with the little red-haired girl. It was released on 6/12/67 on CBS and was nominated for an Emmy for Best Children's Programming. Offered in this lot is a very rare hand-inked, hand-painted production cel featuring Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Schroeder. Each character stands 3.5" tall in full-figure on individual 12 field cels and they appear around the 9:30 mark. The cels are presented over an original hand-painted production background of the school hallway that measures a staggering 44" x 10.5". It's a magnificent setup from an early Peanuts animated classic. Any and all hand-inked 1960s Peanuts production cels are considered very rare and are highly sought after. The cels are creased in the upper right corner, and the lower right peghole has been torn, well away from the painted images. Overall condition is Good to Very Good.Auction Info
