Description
George Tuska and Frank Giacoia Iron Man #42 Splash Page 16 Original Art (Marvel, 1971). Iron Man reacts to the sight of his girlfriend Marianne transformed into the Demon-Queen by the Soulfather in a phantasmagoric mental illusion designed to draw the Golden Avenger into a mystical trap. This splash page features a stellar full-figure illustration of Iron Man. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, handling, and wear. Production marks and balloon placements in blue graphite. Margins trimmed and corners creased and soiled. Left side of the board has a 3" gouge that has been flattened and repaired with production tape on the back. In Very Good condition.More information about George Tuska.
