Description

Adam Kubert and Arthur Adams Ghost Rider / Blaze: Spirits of Vengeance #4 Double Page Spread 2-3 Original Art (Marvel, 1992). You'd be hard-pressed to find two more iconic "Adams" in comics than Adam Kubert and Arthur Adams -- two titans of industry teaming up for one blazing-hot piece! In this intricately detailed carnival scene, the powerhouse duo depicts Johnny Blaze getting back to his roots as a motorcycle stuntman, attempting a dangerous practice jump while trying to "Forget Ghost Rider... Forget Lilith." Even without the powers of the flame-skulled Spirit of Vengeance, Blaze's signature spiked cycle still burns bright as he hits the ramp, wheels ablaze. Rendered in ink over graphite across two conjoined Bristol boards, taped together on the reverse and in the top and bottom margins, the piece has a combined image area of 23" x 17.75". The boards show pinholes in the right margin, editorial notes in the margins, light toning, whiteout corrections, and minor handling wear. Signed by Adam Kubert and in Excellent condition.
