Kraven the Hunter claws his way out of the grave Kaine buried him in, reemerging from the soil and muck after three long days in the dark. This visually arresting near-splash page is rich with detail -- calm flowers floating on the water around Kraven juxtapose the death and decay of the graveyard with the quiet promise of new life, creating a hauntingly beautiful scene that pulls the viewer in. This page from "Hunting the Hunter Part Four: Burning Bright" is rendered in ink and ink wash over blue pencil on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 16".
