Description

John Romita Jr. and Bob Layton Iron Man #121 Story Page 15 Original Art (Marvel, 1979). Batter up! Ol' Shellhead turns Roxxon's canon into a bat and parks their battle cruiser in left field, leaving Jason Hale with a simple choice if he wants that vibranium kept off the scoreboard. Jim Rhodes also makes an appearance on this page from "A Ruse By Any Other Name...", created in ink over graphite on Bristol with a 10" x 15" image area. Slight toning, final panel is stripped-in and held by tape on the back, discoloration around final panel, blue pencil editorial marks, whiteout corrections, production-trimmed edges/corners, discolored tape, and light smudging. Signed by Romita Jr. in the top margin and Bob Wiacek in the lower margin. In Excellent condition.
