Frank Godwin Rusty Riley Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-15-56 (King Features Syndicate, 1956). A pair of dimwitted dog catchers have lost Flip, Rusty Riley's faithful fox terrier companion. Panic rises as no sign arises at the county dog pound, and Riley, Mr. Miles, and Patty must choose a new course of action to find Flip and bring him home. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 23" x 16.5". Light handling wear, corner crunch, editorial notes (mostly marginal), and whiteout corrections, with slight discoloration on the original title card paste-up. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
