Greg Hildebrandt, along with his brother Tim, is a celebrated American artist, renowned for his vivid, fantastical illustrations that capture the imagination. Best known for their iconic work on The Lord of the Rings book covers, the Brothers Hildebrandt's style blends realism with the mystical, creating timeless visuals that transport viewers to enchanted realms. The Hildebrandts have provided artwork for trading cards as well, from various Marvel and DC Comics sets to Magic: The Gathering and the Harry Potter Trading Card Game. Offered here is the original piece of artwork done by Greg Hildebrandt for the card Force of Negation from the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. This artwork was used in the Double Masters 2022 expansion set. Rendered in acrylic on board, this piece measures approximately 24" x 35.5".
