Dick Tracy Cast and Crew Jacket and Bathrobe (Disney/Touchstone, 1990). Here are a couple of rare items for movie buffs. Presented is a crew jacket, size XL, and a bathrobe, size M, from the feature film, Dick Tracy. The Warren Beatty-directed film was released in 1990 along with the Roger Rabbit short, Roller Coaster Rabbit. Dick Tracy depicts the detective's romantic relationships with Breathless Mahoney and Tess Trueheart, as well as his conflicts with crime boss Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice and his henchmen. Development of the film began in the early 1980s.The project also went through directors Steven Spielberg, John Landis, Walter Hill, and Richard Benjamin before the arrival of Warren Beatty who would direct, produce and star in the film.
