Description
Walt Disney's Treasure Chest "Pablo the Cold-Blooded Penguin" Storybook Page Illustrations Original Art Group of 3 (Walt Disney/Simon & Schuster, 1948). This 1948 Disney storybook featured wonderful artwork (including a cover by the one and only Mary Blair). Here are three original illustrations from that book starring Donald Duck and Pablo the Penguin, who appeared in Disney's "good will" feature, The Three Caballeros. Artwork is in Conté crayon and white paint on Bristol board, with image sizes measuring approximately 4.25" x 2.5", 3.35" x 2.5", and the image of Donald and Pablo at 3.25" x 5". Printouts of the book's cover and contents page are also included. Art condition is Good, with handling wear, toning, tack holes, and toning; there are several small red marks on the Donald art, but they do not affect the image.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Fab Five.
