Description

Peter Pan Tinker Bell Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1953). In the course of searching the Darling's nursery for Peter's lost shadow, Tinker Bell lands on a hand mirror and admires herself only to find that the view is less than flattering. You can see this exact image around the 11:40 mark. The popular character was brought to life by one of Walt's "Nine Old Men" and Disney Legend Inductee, Marc Davis. This may be the single largest animation drawing of Tinker Bell we have ever offered. The 8.5" x 8.5" image is rendered in graphite on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper, and numbered 14 in the lower right corner. Tink was so popular that she would go on to open virtually every Disneyland and Wonderful World of Color television show. Large animation drawings of this otherwise diminutive character from the feature film are considered extremely rare. The piece shows light handling and condition is Very Good.
