The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera The Jetsons and Dick Dastardly Presentation Cel (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1990s). The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera was a simulator ride at Universal Studios Florida, and one of the park's original attractions. This was the first of three simulator ride attractions to be built at Universal Studios Florida, as well as the first motion simulator at Universal Orlando Resort. The story line was that Dick Dastardly and Muttley have kidnapped Elroy Jetson, Yogi Bear and Boo Boo give chase and the audience is in for the ride of their lives. Offered in this lot is a "funtastic" animation cel showing Muttley and Dastardly attempting to snatch Elroy. The cel was hand-painted on 12 field acetate and paired with an original hand-painted background. The artwork was created as pitch art for the project. This is a great piece and no doubt, very rare! The cel comes to us from the private collection of a long-time Hanna-Barbera executive. Condition is Fine.Auction Info
