Elmer Wexler Startling Comics V4#2 (#11) Story Page 11 Fighting Yank Original Art (Pines, 1941). Very few superhero pages by this publisher survive, and we had certainly never seen one with the Fighting Yank in costume. The Fighting Yank makes short work of a Sub in Panel 1, so what chance to those thugs in Panel 5 have? A great twice-up scale page in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18". There is a bit of white paint art clean-up on the toned board. There are also pinholes in the marginal corners. In Very Good condition.From the Pinnacle Hill Collection.
