Walt Simonson and Tom Palmer Star Wars #51 Story Page 7 Original Art (Marvel, 1981). This and the following two lots are the first Star Wars pages penciled by Simonson that we've ever offered! In a race to get back to R2-D2 and his X-Wing, Luke Skywalker is confronted by an Imperial Scout, and things go from bad to worse when a trio of full-sized AT-AT walkers join the fray in this tense action page from the deft drafting hand of Walt Simonson. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light toning, top right corner trimmed, minor whiteout art touch-ups, and marginal spot stain. In Very Good condition.From The Tom Palmer Collection.
