Description
The Simpsons Itchy and Scratchy Production Cel Setup (Fox, 1990). Are cartoons too violent? That's what Marge thinks in The Simpsons episode "Itchy, Scratchy, and Marge," when she catches Maggie watching the cartoon "Kitchen Kut-Ups." Here is an original hand-painted 12 field production cel setup of Itchy and Scratchy doing what they do best, from that episode. This was the last episode from 1990, first shown on 12/20/90. Marge blames this show on Maggie's violent behavior, after she hits Homer on the head with a mallet. This is one of the best pure Itchy and Scratchy production cels we have seen, with great image sizes of 3" and 8". The cel is on a print background for presentation purposes; it also includes a Fox seal in the lower right corner. Setup is matted with an opening of 11" x 9", framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 17" x 15". Frame is sold as-is. Cel condition is Very Good.Auction Info
