Description
Dynamite Muscle Popeye Signed Numbered Limited Edition Cel and Illustration Original Art Group (Fleischer, c. 1990s). This long sold-out hand-painted signed limited edition cel features Popeye the Sailor Man with his can of spinach. Titled "Dynamite Muscle", it is #96/500 and hand-signed by long time Fleischer/Paramount Studio animator, Mr. Myron Waldman (1908-2006). This group includes Waldman's original artwork used as a prototype to produce this piece. Both are signed by him. The drawing is graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 7.5" x 11.5". There are pinholes in the corners, minor graphite smudges, and a touch of foxing. The cel has an authentication sticker on the front with an image area of 5.5" x 8.5", and signed/numbered in the bottom right area. It is placed on a print background and matted, ready to frame.
