Description

Charles Schulz - Peanuts Hockey Illustration Given to Gordie Howe Original Art (United Feature Syndicate, 1950). It's well-documented that Schulz was a big hockey fan, but you probably didn't know that he gave a piece of art to one of the all-time greats, "Mr. Hockey" Gordie Howe of the Detroit Red Wings. The piece has a COA to that effect signed by sons Mark and Marty Howe, who of course were NHL players in their own right. Created using ink on paper with an image area of 4" x 4.75" and glass framed to 9.75" x 12.75". The copyright is paste-up. The art comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Howe Foundation and is in Excellent condition.
