Carl Potts and Jim Lee The Punisher War Journal #2 Story Page 8 Original Art (Marvel, 1988). Frank Castle, who dons a chest skull as the deadly vigilante, the Punisher, is confronted by the son of a banker who was killed on the same day as his family. From the second issue of the series that featured Jim Lee finishes over the layouts of writer Carl Potts, before the up-and-coming artist took over the full penciling chores on the Punisher spinoff title a few issues later. Ink, white paint, Conte, and screentone over graphite on Bristol board with an image size of 10" x 15.25". Slight toning, trimmed top edge, tape on the top and bottom edges, editorial notes and whiteout corrections/touch-ups, with light smudging and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
