Description

Irv Novick and Dave Hunt DC Comics Presents #62 Freedom Fighters Double Splash Pages 2-3 Original Art (DC, 1983). Big Blue meets Big Red-White-&-Blue... Uncle Sam, that is. The opening of the story "Born on the Fourth of July" also features most of the Freedom Fighters in bubbles along the left side... Dollman, the Ray, Black Condor, and the Human Bomb. Only Phantom Lady is missing. The two-page spread was created in ink over graphite on two separate sheets of Bristol board with a combined image area of 21" x 15". The Superman and Freedom Fighters logos are stat paste-ups, as well as part of the story title on Page 3. Lightly toned, with some whiteout art clean-ups. In Very Good condition.
From the Irv Novick Family Collection.
