Description
Scott Shaw and Chad Grothkopf Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew #5 Cover Original Art (DC, 1982). The Captain Carrot series had more puns-per-page than you could shake a Shtick at! And the art of Scott Shaw (who always signed as "SHAW!") perfectly paired with the ridiculous writing of "Rascally" Roy Thomas. Our favorite on this cover is the Indiana Jones parody (with a nod to Ripley's Believe it or Not!). Rendered in ink over graphite and blue pencil on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The board is lightly toned, and the logo DC bullet, all header dressing, and lower text are stat paste-ups. There are some minor stains. In Very good condition.More information about Scott Shaw.
