Whilce Portacio X-Factor #69 Story Page 11 Original Art (Marvel, 1991). This story page from Whilce Portacio (and an unknown team of inkers billed simply as "Task Force X") is part of the epic "Muir Island Saga" that ran through both Uncanny X-Men and X-Factor in 1991. This crossover event was the final story before a massive relaunch of the franchise with a historic new X-Men #1 by Jim Lee and the semi-complete creative takeover of Uncanny by Portacio. In a crossover full of dynamic action, this expressive page features a rare downbeat as Wolverine, Rogue, Banshee, and Forge contemplate killing former X-Man Polaris in order to save the world! Created in ink over graphite and blue pencil, the page displays discolored text paste-ups with some discoloration spreading to the image area around them. It has corner/edge wear, a punched hole from production, editor's notes, and staining in the final panel and bottom margin.
