Lou Fine (as Jack Cortez) Wags #88 (Jumbo Comics #7)The Count of Monte Cristo Comic Strip Original Art (Editors Press Service, 1938). This episode first appeared in the last issue of Wags (11-4-38), a comic book anthology produced in the US and sold in the UK and Australia. This episode was also reprinted in Jumbo Comics #7 (Fiction House, 1939). Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 15.5" x 19.5". The syndication strip in the bottom center panel is ripped off. Matted to 20.75" x 25". Toned and in Very Good condition. From the Murphy Anderson Collection.More information about Lou Fine.
